Evaluating US Nonprofits & Philanthropy
The US nonprofit sector and philanthropy produces immeasurable benefit to society through direct service provision as well as through the financing of research. Overlapping with my work on academic R&D, I evaluate how philanthropic grantmaking strategies impact innovation with a focus on drug development. I also evaluate policies aimed at increasing charitable giving.
