I am an assistant professor in the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California where I teach courses on the theories and policies of nonprofits and social innovation.  

My research is at the intersection of nonprofits and innovation. Specifically, I study the financing of innovation and how organizational structure and grantmaking strategies impact innovation production. I earned my PhD in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and my BA from Hendrix College.
